GAMMACIDE Complete Six Songs For Possible New CD
March 18, 2006Guitarist Rick Perry of the reunited Texas thrashers GAMMACIDE has issued the following update on the band's current activities:
"Many of you have asked if there are going to be any more GAMMACIDE shows. The answer is yes, we are planning to do a Texas tour this summer including one show in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. We also plan on hitting Austin or San Antonio, Houston, and possibly Oklahoma City. These shows will mark the return of founding member Jamey Milford on drums, the original Texas double-bass god of thunder.
"We are still in the process of auditioning bass players, since Brian Pho has moved to Los Angeles. Anyone interested please contact us through MySpace. If you are in a band, that's okay, we will work around your schedule.
"The current issue of Metal Maniacs (on newstands now, with SEPULTURA on the cover) has a great review of our Dallas gig with RIGOR MORTIS.
"Our CD reissue of 'Victims of Science' continues to make waves. It is now being distributed in the United States by Century Media Records, Evil Legend Records, and The End Records. In Europe we are now being distributed by Hellion Records. And Marquee Records in South America is about to release 'Victims of Science' in a special edition with additonal vintage photos and artwork. Shirts and CDs are also available online at www.gammacide.com. We are also busy writing material for a possible NEW GAMMACIDE CD. Six songs are finished already, and we've got more in the pipeline everyday. Old-school metal fans will be happy to learn that these new tracks are 100% pure GAMMA-style thrash metal."
